Music, dance, soccer, and Spanish — hands-on activity classes offered alongside our core infant/toddler and preschool programs, right here on our Baird Ave campus.
Four ways to grow
Each class is built for early-childhood attention spans — short, engaging, and led by activity instructors alongside our regular classroom teachers.
Music
Singing, rhythm, and hands-on time with simple instruments, building listening skills and confidence through play, not performance pressure. Children take turns leading a beat, match rhythms with a partner, and build an ear for tempo and dynamics along the way. Every session mixes movement and sound, so a child who isn't ready to sing out loud can still keep the beat with a shaker or tambourine and feel just as much a part of it.
Dance
Movement, coordination, and following along as a group, a fun, active break built right into the week, no experience needed. Children learn simple routines set to music, practice balance and spatial awareness, and build the kind of body confidence that carries over into every other part of the day. It's less about getting the steps exactly right and more about moving, laughing, and trying again.
Soccer
Basic ball skills and teamwork, sized for little legs, less about competition, more about getting kids moving and having fun together. Children practice dribbling, passing, and taking turns in a group, building coordination and an early sense of what it feels like to work toward something as a team. Every drill is scaled to a preschooler's attention span and energy level, so nobody sits out and nobody's pushed past what feels fun.
Spanish
Everyday words and phrases introduced through songs, games, and repetition, the way young children pick up language most naturally. Children build a working vocabulary around colors, numbers, greetings, and the routines of their own day, hearing and repeating new sounds in a low-pressure setting built for their age. The goal isn't fluency. It's comfort: an early, positive association with a second language that makes the next step easier whenever it comes.
