Staff Qualifications
Every staff member at a California-licensed child care facility — ours included — clears a Live Scan fingerprint background check before ever working with children, and maintains current pediatric CPR and First Aid certification.
Live Scan Background Check
Fingerprint clearance, required before any staff member has contact with children.
CPR & First Aid
Current pediatric CPR and First Aid certification, kept up to date on a renewal schedule.
TB Clearance
Tuberculosis clearance on file for every staff member, as required for anyone working in licensed child care.
Security & Sign-In
Every visitor and every family signs in and out at the entrance — there's no unsupervised access to classrooms or the play yard.
Children are only released to the adults listed on their authorized pickup list. Anyone new picking up a child needs to be added to that list by a parent or guardian first — we won't release a child to someone who isn't on it, no exceptions.
Health Policies
Children showing signs of a contagious illness are kept home, or sent home if symptoms show up during the day, until they're no longer a risk to the rest of the classroom. It's a protection for every family here, including yours.
Medication — prescription or over-the-counter — is only administered with a signed Administering of Medication Release on file, and only from the original, labeled container. No medication is given without that paperwork in place.
