Two rooms, built around your child's pace
Growing from the infant room into the toddler room happens on your child's own timeline, not a fixed age cutoff. The same team stays with them the whole way, so a change in room never means a change in who's caring for them.
Infant Room
One primary caregiver builds a real relationship with your baby, and with you. Feeding times, nap schedules, and routines are set together with your family, not on a fixed classroom clock. Days are unhurried: tummy time, reaching and grasping, being talked to and sung to, and a lot of simply being held.
Toddler Room
Newly mobile and increasingly independent, toddlers get room to climb, explore, and start playing alongside other children. We follow each family's lead on potty-readiness. It's supported here, never rushed or required.
A day in the room
For infants, there isn't really a single schedule. There's your child's schedule. We coordinate feeding and nap times directly with families and adjust as your baby grows and changes, week to week.
Toddlers move through a steadier rhythm of the day: active play, quiet play, a nap, and time outdoors, with plenty of room to wander between them. Morning snack and afternoon snack are included at no extra cost for children eating table foods.
We're open 6:30am to 6:00pm, Monday through Friday, year round, so the day here doesn't revolve around anyone else's calendar.
And when your child ages out of this program at 30 months, they move directly into our preschool program on the same Baird Ave campus. No new facility, no new school to vet. Just the same teachers and the same relationship, continued.
How your child grows here
Infant and toddler care is built around attachment and sensory exploration first. Development happens through being held, talked to, and given room to move.
Large Motor
Tummy time and reaching, then crawling, pulling up, and those first wobbly steps, through to confident walking, climbing, and running.
Small Motor
Grasping and letting go, banging and stacking, pointing and self-feeding. The small movements that build toward holding a crayon later on.
Language Development
Cooing and babbling answered every time, then first words, simple phrases, and the beginning of real back-and-forth conversation.
